About

Mine is the age-old story of a Prairie girl in love with the sea. In 2014, after 30-some landlocked years, I moved with my husband + our two boys to Victoria BC on the west coast of Canada. Dream. Come. True. You’ll find elements of nature + my love of the tall trees + cold seas of the Pacific Northwest in everything I create.

I took my first art class (mixed media sketchbooks, if you’re curious) in the Spring of 2015, which reignited a love affair with illustration that I’d abandoned in grade school. [Side note: I was voted Best Girl Artist by my Grade 6 classmates. No biggie.] And here we are, after a few years of experimenting + exploring.

Thanks for being a part of my creative journey! I hope you connect with my paintings in a way that brings you the same level of calm + wholeness that the ocean brings me.
